“In the depths of winter, I finally learned that within me there lay an invincible summer.” _ Albert Camus, French Algerian philosopher, journalist, essayist, playwright, novelist and Nobel Laureate. He died at 46.
Twenty-four hour images of children crying, corpses decaying and concrete rubble filling the streets of Haiti have stirred a lot of emotions. Doesn’t take much to test faith in ourselves, humanity, a higher power when tragedy befalls so many. We grow stronger by getting involved in some way, pushing ahead of our comfort zones and apparent limitations. Every day, I am witnessing what ordinary people are capable of accomplishing if we just trust in each other.
Always be mindful of your actions because they will alter the universe whether you believe that or not.
