First, R.I.P. Merle. Deep down, we knew you had a heart _ any semblance of doubt was laid to rest with Michael Rooker’s taut performance throughout Sunday night’s Episode 15. Now, on to more pressing concerns in the zombie apocalypse.

AMC’s Emmy Award-winning series, The Walking Dead, finalizes its Season 3 “good versus evil, us against them” storyline on March 31 and devotees are rabid. The remedy: A weeklong Dead marathon beginning at 8 tonight (EST), an interactive personality quiz determining which character you are (I’m Rick, go figure) or go Dead yourself (download App on iTunes).  These tips and more are noted in the following blog guide here to brace ourselves for Episode 16, “Welcome to the Tombs.” Hey, if that’s not enough, you can always face down your fear of walker herds in The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct video game by Activision.

NOTE: The Walking Dead is based on Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore and Charlie Adlard’s brilliant graphic novels, which re-imagine the world as we know it by following an intimate group of survivors after a zombie apocalypse. The record-breaking TV series has earned critical acclaim and high ratings for AMC since its first episode premiered, Oct.  31, 2010.
