WEEKLY PHOTO CHALLENGE: THE SIGN SAYS

W4TH1

The Daily Post’s Weekly Photo Challenge often makes me stop and think about the pictures I’ve taken and what they’ll mean in the long run … not only personally, but for others whose path may never cross with mine. This week’s theme asks photographers to share an image illustrating what “The Sign Says.” I’m also sharing a message of hope, love and peace today. The photo above shows a makeshift memorial for Mark Carson, a gay man shot to death in Greenwich Village on May 18.

The signs clearly say it all.
