FILM: ‘Man of Steel’ Soars at the Box Office, Lifting T-shirts to New Heights

WHAT’S THE ‘S’ STAND FOR, YOU MAY ASK …

Man of Steel, the third installment of DC Comics‘ Superman franchise, worked like a charm opening night, swiftly earning $21 million at the box office ahead of its national release Friday. Fans around the globe are wasting no time filling theater seats for Zack Synder and Chris Nolan’s interpretation of the origin tale which stars chiseled British actor Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman and the lovely Amy Adams as Lois Lane.

Coinciding with this weekend’s blockbuster début, LA-based original vintage T-shirt company, Junk Food Clothing, launched its first digital pop up on Rotten Tomatoes, featuring limited edition Man of Steel crew neck tees and more Superman styles (cape not included). Now, if only I could find a decent telephone booth to get into character!
