PARADISE ON EARTH: FEATURED PICTORIAL BY JOAO LAMANCHA VALENTE (LISBON, PORTUGAL)
Joao’s passion for photography shows in his travels around the world, which he shares this month as part of a new Guest Blog series I’m excited to début here. Our first stop on this virtual tour is breathtaking São Tomé e Principe, the independent twin-island nation in the Gulf of Guinea, off the West coast of Africa. The former Portuguese colony sits just north of the equator and captivates with its history, mountainous landscapes, lush rainforests filled with wildlife, scenic coastal vistas, beckoning beaches and a welcoming cultural mix.
